Cameron is the type of guy that can do anything. He is an extremely capable and versatile strategist, analyst and communicator. His career has been shaped by a blend of technology, broad business experience and formal education. He has a degree in Computing and a Master of Management. He has worked as a consultant, a people manager, a communicator, and a technologist, and his photography is not too shabby either. Nor is his cooking. He marvels and admires great craftsmanship whether its art, architecture, products or services. He has worked in telecommunications, finance, government and oil; in organisations big and small.

Melis has a degree in biomedical instrumentation and a PhD in Human Factors, she also got half way through an MBA but decided to have a child instead. Her area of expertise covers experience design and concept prototyping, systems engineering, project management and human factors research. She has worked in academia and also in the defence, automotive and telecommunications industries. She wanted to do a PhD to be Charlie from Top Gun, but don’t hold that against her. Melis is inspired by clever, meaningful design, and simplicity. She’s tried tennis, gymnastics, Tae Kwon Do, gliding and sailing and has realised that her brain is her best asset.

Damian has a degree in ceramic design, a graduate diploma of education and a multimedia design degree. He has expertise in video production, flash presentations, photography, experience design, prototyping and communication. He also has the heart of a gypsy. He’s passionate about film, art, drawing and cooking and he made a movie about rival photocopy technicians called Paper Jam. He has experience working as an educator, a designer, a prototyper and a communicator in the advertising and telecommunications industries. We’ve called him Damo for years, but we’re not sure he likes it.

Angela has degrees in Design Management, and specialises in integrating this knowledge and skill with Service Design. Her background is varied both in terms of experience and geography spanning various countries in Europe and also India. She is fluent in two languages and pretends to understand Finnish. She also has very long hair and we worry about her love for Putzi, her Shelti, who unfortunately couldn’t move to Australia with her. She has worked as a design manager and consultant, and her expertise covers international business, branding, strategic design methods and innovation.

Huddleman is the ‘soul’ prototype behind Huddle Design. He was inspired by the logo and has since inspired the people who designed it. His forte is finger painting and he is a self-proclaimed ‘design guru’ who continues to impress his colleagues with his fine eye for ‘first class design’. His other eye can wink without moving a muscle in his face and we think this is pretty special. Inspired by playfulness, simplicity and his very own dazzling blue overalls, Huddleman is the brightest star amongst us all. His favourite colour is ‘forest green’. He was forbidden from wearing it on the day we couldn’t tell him apart from the trees.

Nola has a Graphic Design degree and has extensive experience in visual communication design, typography and the production of graphics for print across many industries. She’s also spent some time at Sensis applying her skills to the online domain. Nola is energised by clients who are looking to try something new and who are willing to push the boundaries. She loves collaborating with people who have different skills and backgrounds and bring different perspectives to problem solving. She has a seriously awesome fringe that she maintains immaculately and we think she is probably the most pleasant person in our galaxy.

Jared has a design degree and specialised in interaction and electronics design. He is also interested in business so is currently doing a MBA. At a recent speech, Bill Moggridge told us what designers with business minds are called at IDEO, we found this very funny but won’t repeat it here. He has had experience working in the automotive industry doing computer aided design and rapid prototyping, and also in interface and interaction design. He has also worked in the telecommunications industry demonstrating future experiences based on emerging technologies, and has worked on various interactive communication projects.

Patti has worked as a business analyst, a project manager and a user experience architect. She is fun to be around, energetic and has a honed ability for re-enacting funny retrospectives. She uses the word 'situation' a lot, in all kinds of ways, some of which are quite unexpected. She is fascinated by people, how they think, how they exist in the world and what they feel, this is probably because she majored in Psychology and Communications. Patti is a charmer, she loves and lives life to the fullest, everything about her is spontaneous and definitely not whimsical. She is intelligent and focussed, and is also capable of overlooking entry visas into China.

Jemma has had a life-long love of art, design and computing. She has cleverly combined her knowledge of design and technology in a variety of roles including: business process writing and auditing, web design, business development, mergers and acquisitions, project management and commercial management, plus a whole bunch of multi-million dollar projects with large corporations both in the UK and Australia across many industry sectors. Jemma is passionate about early childhood development, so in her spare time wrote and illustrated a children's book on healthy eating for Nutrition Australia.

Nathan is obsessed with innovation. Yes, he's an addict. He finished an advanced diploma in marketing, and went on to complete a degree in entrepreneurship after becoming a massive believer in ideas to action, open architecture, and designing meaning and purpose into business strategies. He's led projects and ventures in design, education and social innovation, and worked as a consultant, strategist and board member in these, and other fields. Nathan loves a challenge, a nice glass of shiraz, and a good ol' fashioned mash; not the potato kind, more like the ideas kind. We doubt he knows what a kitchen looks like.

Liisa discovered her love for Service Design while studying for her Master's Degree at Swinburne Uni that involved developing a social network for foodies which she continues to run today (eatwithme.net). She also has a degree in Interior Design and is well travelled, excelling as a Graphic Designer and Art Director around Europe and Melbourne. She loves variety, change, meaningful work and adapts easily to new environments. Liisa often gets asked if the two i-s in her name is a typo. Of course it's not - this is exactly how Liisa is spelt in her birth place of Estonia. Coincidentally, there are also two i's in Service Design. We think that's important.

Kristian loves doing work that combines his many interests, passions, skills and experience. He particularly enjoys design, user experience, strategy formation, problem solving and believe it or not, hard-core business analysis. He loves exploring the world and taking on challenges such as setting up a juice bar chain in Greece (just don't ask about his one night stay in a Greek prison!). In his down-time, Kristian can be found lying on nice beaches sipping on coconuts with straws in them. He also loves cooking and all things foodie, but is perplexed by the ongoing popularity of sun-dried tomatoes. There is one more very obvious characteristic about Kristian; but we'll leave that for you to discover when you meet him :-)

David realised pretty early on that designing beige toasters really wasn’t his thing so he left Industrial design and found his way into Interaction design and multimedia. He’s been a copywriter, an art director and developed online education courses. David has an empathetic interest in the way people use and experience systems, services and designed objects, so he naturally gravitated to Service design. David has a calm and steady energy, it's near impossible to get him rattled. An avid surfer since he was a boy, we think Davids zen-like vibe is the reason surfing elders call him the ‘Soul Surfer’.

After a lengthy stint of travel through South East Asia and Europe Josh came back to Melbourne with Bruce Lee like enthusiasm and decided to tackle a degree in Entrepreneurship at RMIT University, after kicking and punching his way through the course he went off to work in the financial services sector and then on to social enterprise and consulting. Josh is highly skilled in the art of “Ninja” strategy, planning and analysis and thoroughly enjoys putting to use his FBI interrogation skills to work out what clients and their customer really want. Josh lists his hobbies as Mexican wrestling, big game fishing and the occasional spot of cycling in between. He is inspired by the opportunity to change the way we perceive value, through collaboration, innovation and strategy in the hope it will have a meaningful impact on society.

It is very important to us and we love it and nurture it. We believe in being happy, having a can-do, will-do attitude and always believing in possibility.
Our purpose is to do meaningful work and positively affect humanity through service design and we have five core values that shape everything we do:
We love solving problems with elegant solutions and we are courageous and honest. We also believe in doing good and giving back to the community so have a pro-bono program that we are very proud of.
